Within the context of VAE, a partnership is established between the REVA office at the University of Western Brittany, Brest (UBO), and the ENIB's adult education department.
Should the requests by candidates for the ENIB engineering qualification by VAE be successful, they may then begin the skills validation process.
The candidate must pick up a project form (“fiche projet”) and an application at the UBO’s REVA office or at the adult education department (“formation continue”) at the ENIB. S/he must then write an application for validation or further training for his/her desired degree qualification in order to identify and to validate his/her background: professional, self-taught, etc.
The candidate will be required to come for a interview in order to determine his/her current status, and to sign a contract formalizing his/her commitment to the project (this interview will take place at either the UBO or the ENIB).
Having submitted his/her application, the candidate must then enrol and pay the required costs.
The candidate will then be asked to come for an interview with a VAE jury. Following the interview, the jury will grant either a total or partial validation of the degree. If the candidate obtains only a partial validation, the jury will recommend that s/he follows part of the course. If the candidate accepts, s/he must then enrol in courses at the ENIB through the adult education department.
