The ENIB was created in 1961, and is part of the French Ministry of National Education’s group of schools of engineering. It is accredited by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieurs (Commission for Engineering Qualifications).
The ENIB trains engineers in electronics, computer science and mechatronics.
Our engineers are capable of modeling complex systems in a coherent manner and of mastering all stages of the process, from understanding to design, from production to implementation and operations.

EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES

Students may choose to complete the final year of their course elsewhere by choosing one of the transfer or exchange options:

Professionalism Contract
Research Masters
Academic semester in another school within the ENI group,
Academic semester abroad,
Joint degree with one of our international academic partners,
Placement in a humanitarian organisation,
Volunteering module.

In order to take part in any of our exchange programmes, students must have validated all of their previous semesters.

INDUSTRIAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES

Students have the option of completing their final year of study (semesters S9 and S10) within the context of an employment contract with a company (professional contract).

The teaching periods in semester S9 and S10 is therefore adapted to fit the sequence of alternation with the professional contract (page in French). The content of the classes is identical to that of the standard course.

RESEARCH EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES

During the final year (semesters S9 and S10), it is possible to follow the classes within the school in parallel with a research masters.

- Masters in Hyperfrequency Materials and Devices for Communications Systems
- Masters in Photonics and Information Processing
- Masters in Signals and Circuits

The ENIB collaborates in the following Masters programmes:
- Masters in Laser Optics and Materials

ACADEMIC EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES

-Within the ENI group
Students may conduct academic semester S9 in one of the other schools which make up the ENI group.

- Abroad
Students may conduct academic semester S9 with one of our international partner establishments.

- Joint degree abroad
Students may also study in one of our international partner establishments and obtain a joint degree from both universities.

HUMANITARIAN EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES

- Placement with a humanitarian organisation.
Students may replace the placement within a company in semester S10 by a placement within a humanitarian organisation. In this case, the placement in semester S8 must have been conducted in a company.
- Volunteering module.
During semester S9, students who participate in associations or charity work may ask for this activity to be validated as a module towards their degree.
