For a number of years now, the ENIB has been focusing on preparing its student engineers for work in an international context. We have therefore developed ou international approach in two ways:

- Firstly, we offer our student engineers the opportunity of a first international experience during their final two years of study

- Secondly, all of our options (electronics, computer science and mechatronics) are available to high-achieving foreign students who may choose to come to the school in order to continue their studies either towards their engineering degree, or for Masters and PhD students.

Exchange agreements with other universities, industrial relations, international research collaborations, and our participation in a number of international networks go a long way to facilitating mobility in terms of exchange programmes for both students and teaching staff

A number of new projects facilitated the implementation of these international exchange programmes. For example: the introduction of ECTS credits to develop exchange programmes such as ERASMUS; the division of the university year into two semesters, which has made our curriculum more flexible and thus favours students' mobility; the obligation for students to obtain a good level of English (European B2 level) in order to obtain their degree; and finally the extensive amount of time that students must spend on placement either abroad or in industry here in France.
