“Life at the School” Here follows a few words summarising the characteristics of the Student Committee and its elected members, the Bureau des Elèves (BDE).
The BDE is the catalyst for all of the societies at the ENIB, and its role is to regulate all aspects of everyday life in the ENIB family.
The ENIB is lucky to be able to offer a rich student experience. Seven student societies and nearly 25 clubs work with the Students' Society. Many activities are available to the ENIB students in the form of sports, cultural, recreational or artistic clubs. The students also have access to many other services (stationary, student contact list, student discount at the cinema, etc.). Many events are also organized such as the Student Ball (“La Nuit de l'ENIB”), Freshers Weekend for first year students, graduation, and various different concerts and themed nights like “les Jeudis de l’ENIB”.
The BDE is therefore an integral part of the ENIB and represents its dynamic nature both off and on the ENIB's premises, notably with the partner companies and schools. The BDE is open to any new ideas and aims to help the ENIB students make them a reality.
All of the associations at the ENIB were created by the students themselves with different aims, but always with student members. During the first few weeks of the school year, there will be a number of meetings to provide students with further information about the associations and to join up if they wish.
The Student Committee
The student committee is an association made up of students for students, and manages the various clubs which are similar to small associations but which depend directly on the student committee. These clubs enable students to discover new activities or to continue to practice existing hobbies.
