LIBRARY & RESOURCE CENTRE
The Library and Resource Centre, a multidisciplinary library, is located in the extension of the ENIB.

It is open from Monday to Wednesday from 8 am to 6:30 pm, on Thursday from 8 am to 5:30 pm and on Friday from 8 am to 6 pm.

In this centre, both staff and students have access to documents and resources as well as the scientific and technical information services essential for both research and academic projects
A valid student or professional card is required in order to borrow documents. Both the number of documents which may be borrowed and the time-limit on the documents lent depend on the borrower’s status.

The main aims of the CRD are:

- to provide documents in various formats (paper and digital) and to process and distribute these documents. - to inform users and to teach them how to find information and library materials as well as documentation methodology.

The CRD library is associated with the documentation department at the UBO and works in partnership with other libraries and organisations, notably participating in regional documentation projects within the context of PRES Bretagne.

As an associate library, the ENIB benefits from the following services from the UBO libraries:

- free loan of documents from the different university libraries.

- correspondence borrowing as of the third year between the libraries located in Brest, Quimper and Plouzané - Technopôle.

- interlibrary loans (PEB) for research laboratories, teaching staff and PhD students starting in the 5th year.  These interlibrary loans enable ENIB members to borrow documents from other libraries (both in France and from abroad).

On-site consultation of the collections at the CRD is open to all.
